VIC - Pending RAD Board Hearing - Shane Furze

Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) Stewards have issued a charge against Shane Furze under Australian Harness Racing Rule (AHRR) 231(1)(e) which states:

A person shall not assault anyone employed, engaged or participating in the harness racing industry or otherwise having a connection with it.

It is alleged that Mr Furze assaulted licensed driver Nathan Weightman in the parade ring subsequent to the running of Race 5 at the Mildura race meeting on 6 September 2018.

The charge will be heard by the HRV Racing Appeals and Disciplinary (RAD) Board on a date to be fixed.
