Albion Park Summer Carnival has attracted many talented types and they will be showcased in tomorrow night’s AQWA Constructions Christmas Cup and AQWA Constructions Forever Gold Mares Open. Continuing Christmas Cup night tradition, a visit from Santa has been arranged after race 3 at approx. 6.45pm.

The carnival opening night was staged last Saturday where the John McCarthy trained Rakarolla NZ sailed to victory in the AQWA Constructions Be Good Johnny Sprint. It was the second time McCarthy has prepared the winner of the feature race named in honour of his former champion, the previous was Washakie in 2011.

Mr Kalypso and trainer/driver Kylie Rasmussen were successful in the AQWA Constructions 2018 APHRC Member’s Cup. This was the horse’s seventh consecutive victory.

Punters will appreciate that wagering service provider UBET is offering a number of attractive exotic betting propositions for this Saturday night’s meeting, spearheaded by a $25,000 First 4 Jackpot Pool on race 1 scheduled for 5:42pm EST.

Additionally, $3,000 jackpot Trifectas are listed on races 3, 4 and 5 as well as a $2,500 Quadrella jackpot is listed for races 2 to 5.
