RACE 2 – BLUE HILLS RISE PACE
Steve Austen, trainer of Sammy Seelster, explained that he was satisfied with the recovery of the gelding in the subsequent day’s following the race and added that Sammy Seelster had worked well since. Mr Austen advised that he contributed the below than average performance, to the gelding failing to appreciate the difference in the pre-race preliminary producer, due the tri-codes meeting being conducted that evening.
RACE 3 – HYLAND HARNESS COLOURS PACE
Steve Austen, trainer of Monterey Jack NZ, advised that the gelding had recovered well following the race and added that since the performance, Monterey Jack NZ had worked well and was engaged to race at Cranbourne 25 November. Mr Austen advised that he contributed the below than average performance, to the gelding failing to appreciate the difference in the pre-race preliminary producer, due the tri-codes meeting being conducted that evening.
Ahmed Taiba, trainer of Sergeant Lee, advised that Sergeant Lee had recovered well subsequent to the race and has since left his stable.

RACE 8 – EASY RIDE SULKY GUNBOWER CLUB PACE
Keith Cotchin, trainer of Midnitedelite, explained that a veterinary examination subsequent to the event failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities. Mr Cotchin advised that a required ECG failed to show any evident abnormalities either. Mr Cotchin added that he intended on easing the work load the gelding would be given in the coming days and intended on giving the gelding a trial prior to its next engagement.
