Smoken Up sails to victory in the 2011 Victoria Cup.
Victoria Cup winning superstar Smoken Up (who won the race in 2011) will lead this year's Good Form Victoria Cup (Group 1) field on to the track on Saturday night at Tabcorp Park Melton.
Smoken Up, whose personal best winning mile rate was 1:48.5, holds the Melton track record at Tabcorp Park Melton over 1720 metres (1:51.1).
He won an amazing 74 races from 153 starts with 54 minor placings, netting connections prizemoney of $3,607,985.
Smoken Up's trainer Lance Justice has been very helpful in supporting the industry by making the champ regularly available for public appearances since "Trigger's" retirement in 2014.
His legion of fans turned out in droves for his final race track appearance in September 2014.
On Saturday night, night one of the TAB.com.au Summer of Glory carnival at Tabcorp Park Melton, fans will get to meet Smoken Up in the flesh and pose for a selfie with the brilliant racehorse.
Smoken Up will be positioned in horse stall 61 and patrons are encouraged to visit him during the evening.
Race 1 at Tabcorp Park Melton kicks off at 6.33pm with free entry to the course.
