The field of ten mares invited to contest Australasia’s mares championship the Cordina Chicken Farms Ladyship Mile has now reached nine after the invitations of Glenferrie Alexis and Seshny Bromac.

Glenferrie Alexis trained by Craig Demmler hasn’t been afraid to mix it with the best of both sexes in Victoria this season contesting the recent AG Hunter Cup at her last start. Leading up to the Cup the 1:55.9 mare won the Horsham, Yarra Valley and Maryborough Cups.

The Peter Russo trained Seshny Bromac (1:53.9) finished second in the Garrards Horse and Hound Ranji Bill Stakes before handing in a tough display in winning last start and equally deserves her place in the speed test.
