Slim Jim & the Phatts continue the hard working entertainment tradition created by Slim Jim & the Fatts Band , since 1986. Slim Jim & the Fatts Band will celebrate their 20th Anniversary in June 2006.

Slim Jim & the Phatts recreate the power and excitement of "live" entertainment with a seven piece "super group" of highly talented and professional entertainers and musicians.
The 2005 Phatts , are the ultimate hybrid of Slim Jim & the Swinging Fatts, Slim Jim & Fatt Fiction, Beauties & the Beast and Slim Jim & the Fatts Band . Slim Jim & the Phatts perform classics from the 60s to current Top 40. Slim Jim & the PHATTS have a broad musical appeal and an enthusiastic energy whilst performing some of the classic songs of modern music.

For nearly twenty years, Slim Jim has been fronting one of the most successful rocking/ rhythm and blues acts in Western Australia. He has performed in excess of 5,000 shows state wide - setting a precedent within the local music industry for professionalism and demand. Slim Jim displays his versatility with appearances on radio and television, as a compere and personality for Channel 7, SBS, Access 31, GWN, 96FM, 92.9FM, 6PR, RED FM and many regional stations.
Slim Jim & the Fatts Band were the resident band for TVW 7's "Basil's Footy Show" from 1999 - 2001. The popular local football programme had an average weekly audience of 200,000 viewers. The regular guests included Adrian Barich, Karl Langdon, Scott Watters, Shaun McManus, Chris Mainwaring, Peter Sumich, Heath Black, Scott Cummings and host Basil Zempilas. In 1999, "BASIL'S FOOTY SHOW - LIVE" attracted 2,500 fans to Metropolis - City.

With the combination of Nat & Kirsty’s versatile lead vocals and funky front ‘girl’ appeal, Trav’s electrifying energy and enthusiasm, Brad’s phat sound and top quality playing, Troy’s power & solid timing, and all five members with vocals – this band is full of essential rock spunk!

A solid drummer from previous band inferno, a successful & energetic guitarist from Perth cover band ‘slingshot’. A rocking bass player from bands such as ‘chucky’, ‘ariel’ & ‘radio 1’ and two chicks; one from previous cover bands ‘lil devil’ & ‘radio 1’ and the other from well known, Perth renowned cover band ‘wax’.

These 5 members came together to create a band with a fun, energetic & unique vibe, an explosive rock sound and who are always playing your favourite current top 40 tracks.

Flyte have played at the following venues; the Maxx (Joondalup), Foundry (Cannington), Paramount (Northbridge), bar 120 (Hillarys) & The Reef (Bunbury) and black betty’s (Northbridge.)
They have also played at high profile events such as; ‘Frenzi’ (fundraiser for telethon), ‘International iron man championships’ ‘Miss Rally Australia grand final’, Miss Crusty Demon grand final’ ‘Adventure world - adults only pool party’ & ‘the Kulin bush races.
