QUALITY mare Bettor Enforce will take a step closer towards the Group 1 Ladyship Mile tonight at Tabcorp Park Menangle.

The Craig Cross-prepared eight-year-old is first up since winning at Menangle on November 28 where she lowered her personal best time, rating the mile in 1:48.9.

Opening as the $1.30 TAB Fixed Odds for tonight’s Group 3 Garrards Real Rewards Ladyship Pace (1609 metres), Bettor Enforce will be looking to extend her consistent record at Menangle where she boasts 11 wins and five placings in her 18 starts around the 1400 metre circuit.

Bettor Enforce is being aimed at the Group 1 Ladyship Cup at Melton Victoria on February 6 and then the Group 1 Ladyship Mile at Menangle on February 27.

Bettor Enforce was beaten a short half-head in last year’s Ladyship Mile by Bettors Heart.

Despite having pocketed $319,669 stakes throughout her career, Bettor Enforce is yet to win a Group 1.
