RACE 1 – ETCH COATINGS PACE

  1. Deni Roberts (Euphoric Moment): “Will be taking full advantage of the draw. Looks his race to lose.”
  1. Jocelyn Young (La Sulieman): “Been hitting the line strong. Not sure where he gets to in the run. Goes better on the pegs.”
  1. Shannon Suvaljko (The Last Drop): “Charged to the line last start. Told Josh as soon as this draws will win. If we can lead or get a good position he will go well.”
  1. Emily Suvaljko (Ourboybart): “Racing really well at the moment and the distance won’t worry him. Put a line through last start. Goes best saved for one run but will need early tempo.”
  1. Greg Bond (J B Mauney): “Good last week. Back to the mobile and the 2500 won’t bother him. Each way.”
  1. Kim Prentice (Extradite): “Been going well. Happy with him. Go back and have to look after him.”
  1. Corey Peterson (Galante): “Tricky draw. Not racing too badly. I’ll have to see what Bryan thinks.”
  1. Ryan Bell (Blue Blazer): “Good draw in the trailing position. Aiden was happy with him last week. He can be top four with clear running.”
  1. Michael Grantham (Major Shard): “Drop back to the rail. Think the one will hold up. Hope we get the splits late.”
  1. Gary Hall Jnr (Disco Under Fire): “Going well but drawn out of it.”

RACE 2 – VILI’S FAMILY BAKERYS PACE

  1. Deni Roberts (Henwood Bay): “Drawn to land a forward position. Give him an each way chance over his favourite distance.”
  1. Corey Peterson (Can’t Refuse): “Trialled really well. Just shut off when he got past the other horses and has pulled up well. I’ll be driving him like the best horse in the race and will have a good look for the front.”
  1. Gary Hall Snr (Tuas Delight): “Draw got him again. Hard to see him beating the five.”
  1. Brett Smith (Burning Rubber): “Looks tough from the barrier.”
  1. Emily Suvaljko (Anime): “Will be taking shortcuts and letting him run home. Wait until he draws a barrier.”
  1. Matt Scott (Charlie El): “Place from the draw.”
  1. Ryan Warwick (Ideal Investment): “Good draw. Will be guided by the trainer.”
  1. Chris Voak (Sightseeing Anvil): “Novelty chance from the draw.”

RACE 3 – SIMMONDS STEEL PACE

  1. Brett Smith (Mcardles Gem): “Will be taking advantage of the barrier and leading. His work this week has been superb and I think he can handle the 2500.”
  1. Deni Roberts (Headline Act): “Front line draw. Gate speed. Tony Svilicich horse. Enough said.”
  1. Michael Grantham (Crocodile Kid): “Awkward draw. Will find it tough.”
  1. Ross Olivieri (Queen Shenandoah): “Going well. Each way from an average barrier.”
  1. Matt Scott (C C Chevron): “Racing well. Tough draw.”
  1. Aiden De Campo (Captain Mannering): “Good trailing draw. 2500 should suit. Each way with luck.”
  1. Matt Scott (Qtown Rip Roaring): “Racing well. Again a tough draw.”

RACE 4 – RETRAVISION PACE

  1. Aiden De Campo (Delightfulreaction): “Racing really well. Good draw helps against the boys.”

  1. Matt Scott (Always Arjay): “Hard from the draw as he needs the pegs.”
  1. Gary Hall Snr (Extreme Prince): “Needs to lead and get no pressure. Place chance with luck.”
  1. Shannon Suvaljko (A Boy Named Rosie): “Good trailing draw for him. Will be speed on and will hit the line hard. Each way.”

RACE 5 – JP STRATTON CUP

  1. Greg Bond (The Bird Dance): “First time in the open class. We will get a good guid on him. He will get a good run from the barrier and acquit himself well.”
  1. Gary Hall Snr (Eloquent Mach): “Ran past Bletchley Park last week and was the only horse off the pegs to make up ground. He will sit somewhere close.”
  1. Michael Grantham (Golden State): “Will probably drop to the pegs. Maybe the moving line.”
  1. Gary Hall Snr (Chicago Bull): “Might end up outside The Bird Dance. Worked well on Wednesday morning. There’s very little between him and Shockwave.”
  1. Greg Bond (Vampiro): “Going good. If he drew inside Bully it might have changed our approach. We will leave it up to Dylan though.”
  1. Kim Prentice (Im Soxy): “Really tough race. Big campaign in front of him. We will look after him.”
  1. Greg Bond (Galactic Star): “Changed things around with him. Drive quietly and hope to find the line.”
  1. Greg Bond (Ocean Ridge): “We will look after him.”
  1. Chris Voak (Bettor Party): “Handy draw. Novelty hope.”
  1. Ryan Bell (Shockwave): “Couldn’t be happier with him. Need luck with fancies drawn forward. He will run a good race.”

RACE 6 – WESTRAL PACE

  1. Chris Voak (Bee Seventeen): “Perfect draw. Resuming in a strong field. His best is good enough to be competitive.”
  1. Ross Olivieri (Jimmy Mack): “Up in class. Going well. Some sort of chance.”
  1. Gary Hall Snr (My Carbon Copy): “He’s on the way up. Serious horse. Got high speed, just needs a bit of stamina. He will be sat up and have the last crack.”
  1. Greg Bond (Taroona Bromac): “Even field. He can play a part.”
  1. Deni Roberts (Talkerup): “Looks harder than last week. Probably going to have to drive to the pace of the race.”
  1. Greg Bond (Justasec): “He’s a bit sharper and more forward than the stablemate. He will be about the place.”

RACE 7 – ALLWOOD STUD FARM F&M PACE

  1. Ryan Bell (Yo Te Amo Haitch): “They won’t cross her early. Will be up to Dylan what he wants to do. I’d like to see her stay in front.”
  1. Shannon Suvaljko (Sameplace Sametime): “Nice mare who will get a good run. Knockout chance.”
  1. Ryan Bell (Radiant Amber): “Showed glimpse of her old self last week. Tricky draw. Going to be tough for her.”
  1. Luke Edwards (Leap Of Faith): “Will be looking to lead from the low draw.”
  1. Greg Bond (Starlight Destiny): “Racing consistently. If she gets a good trip she’s a top three chance.”
  1. Emily Suvaljko (Bettorgrinanbarit): “Looks to have recaptured a bit of form of late. Tricky draw. Think we will drive according to the speed of the race.”
  1. Ross Olivieri (Zozo Ma Gogo): “Got caught outside the leader on Tuesday. Hurt by the draw here.”
  1. Gary Hall Jnr (Blissfulabbey): “Drawn to play a part. Each way.”
  1. Michael Grantham (Countess Grace): “Will go straight to the rail. Went okay on Tuesday.”
  1. Ross Olivieri (Just Makemine Diamonds): “Hurt by the draw. Going well. Can sit and sprint as well as lead. Place chance more so.”

RACE 8 – CATALANO TRUCK & EQUIPMENT SALES 3YO PACE

  1. Shannon Suvaljko (Little Bitof Fun): “Will lead and win.”
  1. Chris Voak (Hotfoot It): “His trial form for the new stable appears to be very good. Little Bitof Fun looks the leader which could place us leaders back. Interesting to see how he handles himself against some credible opponents.”
  1. Gary Hall Jnr (Medieval Man): “Place chance.”
  1. Kim Prentice (Soho Hamilton): “Only the one can beat him I think. He’s got the draw on us too. May have to do it the hard way.”
  1. Ryan Bell (Blue Stone): “Looks outclassed. Best form has been in better fields though. Only a maiden but he’s a top four chance.”
  1. Michael Grantham (Mista Mangels): “Tough field.”

RACE 9 – CHOICES FLOORING TROT

  1. Michael Grantham (One Bid Buys): “Gets chance to sit in behind and do no work. Can be dangerous.”
  1. Chris Voak (Lifes Delight): “Place chance from a fair draw.”
  1. Gary Hall Snr (Princess Mila): “She’s better sat up. Can’t let the six get in front of us here. Working well and was good last start. Takes a few runs to come to hand.”
  1. Kim Prentice (Spud): “If he’d drawn better he’s a place chance. Getting somewhere near his best.”
  1. Ross Oliveir (Mr Sundon): “Up to his ears in this. Strong chance. I’d like to see him with a sit. Up to Lewis what he wants to do.”
