Harness Racing Australia (HRA) wish to remind all participants that in less than 3 months time the use of all offset sulkies will be banned.

This ban follows a five year phasing out period, and will come into effect on 1 September 2020.

HRA reminds participants that it is their responsibility to ensure that their sulky is both approved and in good working condition at all times.

Due diligence when purchasing new and used sulkies is recommended and for ease of reference the HRA Approved Sulkies list can be found here:

Stewards will remain vigilant in conducting regular sulky inspections to ensure that all sulkies used in harness racing are approved for use.
