King Tiger

Unbeaten colt King Tiger faces his next challenge at Bankstown today.

The three-year-old will race in a prelude of the Bankstown Derby.

King Tiger has had four starts to date.

The son of Tiger Tara had one start as a two-year-old winning in a slick 1:53.9 at Newcastle.

He has had three starts this season with his best winning mile rate this time in at Penrith in June where he rated 1:55.7.

King Tiger is trained by Kevin Pizzuto who has his filly Tigerlicious in a heat of the Cheryl McDowell Oaks.

Tigerlicious is also by Pizzuto’s stallion Tiger Tara and was one of four foals produced by the Inter Dominion winner that year.
