Jack Callaghan and Alta Orlando

He is the second favourite for tonight’s Group 3 Golden Mile at Menangle and driver Jack Callaghan is confident Alta Orlando can win it.

The Belinda McCarthy-trained pacer has been winless in his last six starts, including a start in New Zealand in The Race.

However, with a turn of luck, Callaghan believes the gelding can change his form around.

“He has been going really well just has had no luck,” Callaghan said.

“He can bounce back in this race.”

The public elect is Cruz Bromac who returned from a spell a fortnight ago with a runner up performance.

Callaghan has seven drives tonight.

“The trotter Majestic Simon is going well too and he gets a better draw tonight,” said Callaghan.

The iForm best bets for Saturday:

Menangle best bet

Race 3: Faze Of Glory (6)

Race 4: Scotts Rain (7)

Close up since winning three starts ago and makes her presence felt once more

The Menangle quaddie

Race 5: 5-4-6-2

Race 6: 8-5

Race 7: 6-10-5-7
