Grand Circuit winning trainer Jason Grimson is on a quest to add another feature to his glowing record.

The 28-year-old has a two-pronged attack in the Group 2 Treuer Memorial at Bankstown today.

This includes one of the race favourites Ideal Dan and Renshaw Cup winner Stingray Tara who have both drawn on the front line.

Locally trained pacer Loorrim Lake will have to overcome the second row to defend his title in the feature.

The Kevin Pizzuto-trained gelding won the JD Watts Memorial at Menangle last Saturday week causing a boilover beating the likes of Cruz Bromac. Pizzuto also has Arden Messi in today’s feature.

The iForm best bets for Monday:

Bankstown best bet

Race 2: Solar Express (2)

Excellent claims following a handy Penrith performance getting it wrong early.

Bankstown next best

Race 5: Lucky Beach Boy (6)

Although drawn the wing can be prominent close up since winning four starts ago.

Around the tracks

Canberra best bet

Race 1: Tackas Princess (9)

Very good last time and a repeat of that would see her hard to beat.

Play the exotics
