Riverina pacer Rocknroll Runa has been well supported in tonight’s Group 1 clash - the Regional Championships State Final at Menangle. 

After winning the Riverina Final in dominate fashion, the David Kennedy-prepared pacer opened at odds of $6.50 and firmed into $2.90 at one stage. 

Part of his popularity is that the noted fast beginner has drawn barrier two. 

Drawn alongside him is Western Final winner Lyrical Genius that led from start to finish to win the Group 1. 

However, despite drawing gate three, opened at odds of $5 and went out in the market. 

The race favourite is Metropolitan Final winner Lets Get Rockin. 

He will be driven by Jack Callaghan who had the pick of drives over that pacer and Far Out Bro.
