The meeting at Forbes today was transferred to the Parkes track.

Due to the inclement weather and the forecast for more heavy rain in the leading days, the Forbes Harness Racing Club requested to relocate the meeting.

Set to have a busy day at the meeting is Bathurst horseman Josh Turnbull.

Renowned as a leading horse breaker in his region, Turnbull has already trained 14 winners this term.

Turnbull has six starters nominated across today’s card.

The drives for Turnbull’s stable will be shared with his older brother Nathan Turnbull, John O’Shea and Blake Micallef.

Turnbull had his best season on track last year training 45 winners.

He has trained 342 winners since he began training in the 2005/06 season.
