In August Racing Queensland will be reveiwing the QBRED terms and conditions for the 2022 Racing Season and welcomes feedback from industry participants including owners, breeders and trainers as part of the review process.

The review of the scheme and input from industry is important to the continuation, enhancement and sustainability of the scheme, a recent example of this is the introduction of the Transitional QBRED condition which provides Queensland breeders the opportunity to purchase or bring in-foal mares to Queensland for foaling, with the resultant foal eligible for the QBRED scheme. This suggestion was put forward as part of a previous review.
