RACE 1 – THE EUSTON CLUB PACE (2190 MS)
Aaron Bain, trainer of Eddee, advised subsequently from the event the gelding failed to recover as expected and has been given a light week and placed on a course of antibiotics prior to continuing with the current preparation.
RACE 5 – TANKARD DENTAL 3YO PACE (1790 MS)
Scott Garraway, trainer of Lillies & Surf Ace, advised subsequently from the event that both horses to have recovered satisfactorily. Mr Garraway attributed the performance to the resurfacing of his track in the recent week prior, as a number of runners from the stable have performed below expectations. Mr Garraway advised he has altered his current training regime to allow his stable to adjust to the new track conditions.

RACE 6 – SADDLEWORLD SHEPPARTON (1690 MS)
Wayne Potter, trainer of Roll Along Styx NZ, advised subsequently from the event blood tests failed to revel any abnormalities. Mr Potter attributed the performance to gelding being second up from a spell in a fast mile rate of 1.55.3 as the gelding would derive benefit from the performance. Mr Potter advised he has increased the workload of Roll Along Styx NZ and would continue with the current preparation.
Tabcorp Park Melton – 19 June 2021
RACE 1 – DNR LOGISTICS PACE (2240 MS)
Juanita McKenzie, trainer of Cool Water Paddy NZ, advised subsequently from the event the gelding has now returned to Tasmania. Ms McKenzie advised she is at a loss to explain the recent below performances. Ms McKenzie added Cool Water Paddy NZ, will now be given a light week prior to continuing with the current preparation.
RACE 5 – TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY PACE (2240 MS)
Rhys Nicholson stable representative for John Nicholson, trainer of Smart Little Shard, which was found to have inflamed airway after an endoscopic examination subsequent from the event. Mr Nicholson advised the gelding to have recovered satisfactorily and to have been placed on a course of antibiotics. Mr Nicholson advised the stable would continue with the current preparation.

RACE 1 – DOWNBYTHESEASIDE STANDING @ WOODLANDS STUD PACE (2080 MS)
Michael Hughes, trainer of Crompton Bay, advised subsequently from the event blood tests revealed the gelding to have a viral infection and will now be treated accordingly prior to continuing with the current preparation.
