HARNESS RACING SA COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS EASED   

 

Following the latest SAPOL Cross-Border Travel Direction, Harness Racing SA has eased restrictions for those persons attending race meetings and licensed training facilities who have been in regional Victoria in the 14 days prior to their arrival in SA. 

Effective immediately.

All persons who have attended a race meeting, or licensed training facility, in Regional Victoria in the past 14 days are not permitted to attend a South Australian racecourse or registered training venues until production of a negative Covid-19 test.

This direction applies regardless of whether a person is the holder of an Emergency Travelers Permit.

All persons are advised that should they fail to comply with these requirements, significant penalties, may be imposed under AHRR 238.

As always, anyone displaying symptoms of COVID-19 should not attend a South Australian harness racing track or licensed premises until such time as they obtain a negative COVID-19 test.
