HARNESS Racing New South Wales has released dates for this season’s trotting feature races.
Heats for the Foundation series will begin in March and the features will continue through to July 10 where Trot NSW Finals will be held for the two, three and four-year-old trotters.
“Through consultation with the Trotters Association and Club Menangle, the scheduled dates will allow trainers and owners of younger trotters a NSW racing season that will lead into possible interstate campaigns,” HRNSW Chief Executive John Dumesny said.
“HRNSW is supportive of trotters as evidenced last year when the dedicated season was disrupted by COVID but still the $30,000 Two-Year-Old Trot NSW Final was held.
“We will continue to work with the Association to develop programs, race conditions and policies which provide equally for all young trotters in the NSW system.”
