The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a People & Culture/Legal Co-Ordinator to join our team in Flemington. In this newly created role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective administration support to the People and Culture and Legal, Risk and Compliance teams.

Responsibilities include (but not limited) to:

HR Support

  • Recruitment assistance and administration
  • Assist with development of policies, procedures, and training
  • Coordinate and scheduling associated with, induction, on boarding and probation reviews
  • Administration of online e-learning system
  • Co-ordinate reward and recognition programs and service awards.
  • General admin

Legal and Risk Management Support

  • Administrative Support to the General Counsel, Manager Risk and OHS Officer
  • Assistance with the co-ordination of the Legal and Risk and Compliance Function
  • Completing administrative duties Drafting documents and general formatting
  • Establishing and coordinating document management system
  • Assisting with the preparation of board papers and board minutes
  • Managing Document archives

Organisation Support

  • Update adhoc organisational documentation e.g. organisational chart and telephone list

The successful candidate will need to be a collaborative, focused driven individual looking with:

  • Demonstrated relevant administrative experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of contemporary HR management principles and practices, and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent computer skills including advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, VISIO (including preparation of reports, templates and spreadsheets). 
  • Excellent knowledge of HR systems.
