On 18 June 2018, the Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) Racing Appeals and Disciplinary (RAD) Board were scheduled to consider charges laid under the Australian Harness Racing Rules (AHRR) by HRV Stewards against Mr Scott Dyer and Mr Danny O’Bree. These charges relate to a recent HRV RAD Board matter that resulted in the disqualification of Mr Larry Eastman and Ms Lynette Eastman.
An adjournment of this matter has been granted to Mr Dyer on personal grounds and shall be heard at a future date. As a result HRV Stewards have suspended Mr Dyer’s trainers license under AHRR183(d) and have also prevented any horses that he has an ownership interest in being able to be nominated for a race, pending the hearing and determination of his HRV RAD Board matter.
As Mr O’Bree’s charges relate to those of Mr Dyer, his hearing has also been adjourned to a future date.
