Old Beach trainer Paul Hill tonight launches the three-year-old campaign of his exciting filly Ideal Bliss.

The reigning Two-Year-Old Filly Of The Year will contest the opening race and has come up with the coveted pole position on the nine-event Tasmanian Pacing Club card.

The American Ideal – Blissful Grace filly raced on five occasions in its first season of racing for three wins and two placings, culminating in victory in the $40,000 Evicus Final.

Tonight, Rohan Hillier will continue his strong association with Ideal Bliss as they take on the $20,000 Sweepstakes winner Vouvray Beach.

Ideal Bliss won her heat of the Sweepstakes scoring by 8.7-metres over Vouvray Beach, however, the Rodney Ashwood prepared filly turned the tables in the final, leading throughout in a two-horse war to score by 1.9-metres from Ideal Bliss with Classic Tells third 45.8 metres away.

Ashwood and Ricky Duggan combined with Vouvray Beach to make a successful return to racing a fortnight ago in Hobart as the $1.80 favourite, scoring by 1.8-metres over Ideal Karalta.

The Somebeachsomewhere - Vouvray filly boasts a 50% strike-rate, winning three of six starts with two placings.

Todd Rattray’s Inwil opened her career at Luxbet Park in June, running third to Ideal Bliss in a heat of the Evicus, beaten 17 metres.

With the benefit of that run under her belt she improved vastly to run second, beaten only 1.7 metres in the Evicus Final before breaking through for her first victory in the Ignatius Two-Year-Old Mile.

Todd Rattray returns from his Inter Dominion campaign with high hopes of at least a winning treble.

Todd has the favourite in the first three legs of the quadrella races two, three and four, and the equal favourite in race five.

Harjeet kicks the team off, the Globe Derby winner returns to the track for the first since May and has drawn awkwardly on the outside of the front line but is clearly the class runner of the field a with a record of four wins from seven starts.

Bettors Delight – Faithful Sally four-year-old Hafter blotted its copybook in Northern Tasmanian Light Harness Association Cup in Launceston when galloping from the stand, but that was after winning five races in a row and is mote than capable of returning to winning form here.

Taurisi is on the verge of taking its winning tally into double figures in the fourth on the card.

The Always A virgin – Exclusif five-year-old was outclassed by Major Secret in the City Of Launceston Cup but finished strongly from six back on the pegs to beat the locals with the exception of Dapper Dana.

Roger Ramjet finished a close second, beaten a short half head, to Fernco Bobby G in Launceston two starts back before galloping his way out of contention in the Free-For-All won by Destreos five weeks ago.

The seven-year-old has been freshened up for its Free For All assignment and could cap off a big night for Rattray and favourite punters through the Quadrella.
