Club Menangle is turning pink on Saturday 2 May for Coutts Pacing For Pink in support of the McGrath Foundation. The feature race night kicks off the national harness racing campaign which aims to raise funds and awareness for the McGrath Foundation Cancer Care Nurses.

Pacing For Pink, an initiative founded in Victoria, runs as an Australian-wide campaign for the fifth straight year, with drivers from all states voluntarily donning the pink pants in support of the campaign from 1 to 31 May.

Club Menangle will continue our involvement and have committed to donating for success at our track across the eight race meetings we hold in May:

  • $200 for each win recorded by a driver in the Pink Pants at Club Menangle
  • $200 for each female training win recorded at Club Menangle
  • $200 for each win that is recorded by a horse carrying saddlecloth Number 8 at Club Menangle

In Australia, around 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. After 20 years of positive impact supporting breast cancer, the McGrath Foundation are now taking their care to all cancers, ensuring that together, no one misses out on care.

Marg Watson, Pacing For Pink Coordinator said: “We’re delighted to have Club Menangle on board this year to support Pacing For Pink. It’s great to have New South Wales on board with quite a few drivers wearing the pants promoting the foundation for a worthy cause.”

The feature night on Saturday 2 May showcases Group One racing with the running of the Pryde's Easifeed Queen Elizabeth II Mile, John Gibson Memorial NSW Oaks, Yabby Dam Farms NSW Trotters Oaks and Slingbsy Holdings Macarthur Mile, plus the TAB Regional Championship – State Final.

Off the track tribute band FABBA will be performing trackside all the fan favourite ABBA hits in between races. Guests will be welcomed by our pink doorman on a pink carpet, plus plenty of roving pink themed entertainment, and a trackside DJ. Aussie Night Markets will be back with their popular food trucks, specialty stalls and carnival rides.

Club Menangle Chief Executive Officer Bruce Christison said: "We’re looking forward to participating in our 2026 Pacing For Pink campaign and continue to raise funds and awareness for the McGrath Foundation.

"Our local community are driving forces in supporting the campaign and we welcome Coutts Lawyers & Conveyancers back for the second year as event partner on 2 May.

"The evening is building to be another exciting rendition with thrilling Group 1 racing and FABBA keeping everyone entertained. With free entry it will be another fantastic family friendly night at the track.”

In the Chairman's Lounge, the A Pink Affair charity dinner will take centre stage, with the elevated race night experience hosted by former tennis star Casey Dellacqua. The event has sold out for the third time.
