Juvenile features will be the strong focus for premiership-winning reinsman Luke McCarthy this week.

The 39-year-old has six drives across today’s 12-race Menangle program with four of those engagements in heats of the NSW Breeders Challenge.

These are the second rounds of two-year-old qualifiers where McCarthy will partner with Pink Bonnet winner Promiseland, Sweetheart Bart, Mufasa Bart and debutant French Fleur who is a daughter of former top mare Fleur De Lil.

McCarthy will then travel to Victoria on Saturday night with heats of the Victoria Derby.

He will be hoping to qualify Cantfindabettorman and Mr Ibiza for the final at Melton on October 8.
