After combining to win the Regional Championships State Consolation horsemen David Kennedy and Jackson Painting will team up again at Riverina Paceway today.

The pair won the $25,500 feature with Braedos Lad at Menangle last Saturday and finished fourth in the $100,000 State Final with Rocknroll Runa.

Kennedy will use Painting’s driving services in race four when he produces former New Zealand pacer Tiger Lou who is first up on Australian soil.

Kennedy and Painting will combine a further four times today including with Regional Championships Riverina heat winner Babyitscold in race nine.

Kennedy has seven horses engaged at today’s meeting.

The iForm best bets for Friday:

Newcastle best bet

Race 8: Major Doodle (9)

Could have their measure after a string of minor placings this campaign.

Newcastle next best

Race 7: Time In Lou (2)

Despite plain numerical form makes her presence felt finding this easier than previous assignments.

Around the tracks

Wagga best bet

Race 5: Spring Line (9)

Draws to get a lovely sit and over the long trip may have too much dash late.

Dubbo best bet

Race 3: Baxter Red (4)

Looks the leader and on a tough card is a standout.

Play the exotics

The Newcastle quaddie

Race 5: 5 2-5-8-6

Race 6: 9-2

Race 7: 6-2-3-10
