The lucrative Breeders Challenge series has received another boost and this year will feature finals for four-year-old pacers.

As part of the Breed NSW initiative, there will be $50,000 finals for both sexes to be run at Menangle on October 29 in conjunction with the juvenile finals for two and three-year-olds.

Qualifying heats for four-year-old mares, worth $25,000, will be held at Menangle on October 15 while $25,000 heats for entires and geldings that age will be held at the same venue on October 22.

Breeders Challenge sustained horses are still eligible for the $100,000 Riverina Four and Five-Year-Old Championships held at Riverina Paceway too.

The iForm best bets for Friday:

Penrith best bet

Race 4: Surf Ace (2)

Might prove too classy finding this easier following useful performances at Regional Championship level.

Penrith next best

Race 5: Masons Delight (2)

In a wide-open affair has shown enough at Penrith trials to be prominent first up.

Tamworth best bet

Race 6: Mike Orr (7)

Draws to get a cheap run and looks hard to stop with the last crack at them.

Young best bet

Race 2: Weona Sir Vivor (1)

Looks to have found the most suitable race this time in since his first up win.  Hard to beat from the draw.
