Group 1 winner Madrid will chase her next feature test in tonight’s $50,000 J.L. Raith Memorial at Menangle.

The daughter of New South Wales stallion Bling It On is first up since winning the $150,000 Breeders Challenge Final on October 30.

Madrid has won five of her six starts to date.

She was the fastest filly in Australia last year when she rated 1:51.9 in that Breeders Challenge success.

She has drawn ideally in barrier two for this assignment and subsequently is the favourite to win the Group 2.

She will be driven by Cameron Hart, who has drives in the first five races tonight including on Art Tutor in race two who is fresh from winning a trial at Penrith during the week in track record time.

He will be taking on top New Zealand pacer Krug, who is making his Menangle debut tonight.
