Brent Lilley, trainer of Leer NZ, advised subsequently from the event the filly had recovered well after a tough run but would now be spelled.

RACE 2 – DYNAMIC PRINT GROUP PACE (1720MS)
Glenn Douglas, stable representative of Would You Mind NZ, advised subsequently from the event the gelding had recovered well. Mr. Douglas is of the opinion that the race wasn’t run to suit and the stable plan to continue with the current preparation.

Brent Lilley, trainer of Kyvalley Hotspur NZ, advised subsequently from the event the colt had pulled up well but would now be spelled.
RACE 5 – MIMOSA HOMES BREEDERS CROWN SERIES 24 (2YO COLTS & GELDINGS) FINAL (GROUP 1)(2240MS)
Charlene Gusman, trainer of Hes Charlies Angel, advised subsequently from the event the colt was diagnosed with a low grade virus. Ms.Gusman stated Hes Charlies Angel was being treated accordingly and would continue with the current preparation.
RACE 6 – IRT AUSTRALIA BREEDERS CROWN SERIES 23 (3YO COLTS & GELDINGS) FINAL (GROUP 1)(2240MS)
Emma Stewart, trainer of Major Moth, advised subsequently from the event the colt has undergone a full vet check but are awaiting results. Ms. Stewart stated the stable would make a decision on the current preparation once they receive the vet report and also advise Stewards of any abnormalities.
RACE 8 – RIDING HIGH BREEDERS CROWN SERIES 24 (2YO FILLIES) FINAL (GROUP 1)(2240MS)
Emma Stewart, trainer of Petillante, advised subsequently from the event the filly had pulled up fine after overracing. Ms. Stewart stated Petillante would have a quiet week before continuing with the current preparation.

RACE 6 – FITZPATRICKS TRANSPORT PACE (2100MS)
Louis Franc, trainer of Bonavista Bay, advised subsequently from the event the gelding has recovered well and a vet check had revealed no abnormalities. Mr. Franc stated Bonavista Bay will continue with the current preparation.
