RACE 3 – JET ROOFING 3YO & OLDER TROT (2180 MS)
Fred Spiteri, trainer of Champagne Charley, advised subsequently from the event the gelding to have recovered satisfactorily with blood tests failing to revel any abnormalities. Mr Spiteri attributed the performance to the gelding missing a run from a recent meeting being abandoned and he has now increased Champagne Charley workload since. Mr Spiteri has requested for Champagne Charley to be placed right outside the draw (RODM) in future mobile events.

RACE 4 –FORTY WINKS BENDIGO 2YO VICBRED PACE (2150 MS)
Leroy O’Brien, stable representative for Danny O’Brien trainer of Im Princess Bella advised subsequently from the event blood tests failed to revel any abnormalities with the filly. Mr O’Brien advised the filly failed to perform to expectations in recent work since with Im Princess Bella to be displaying inflammation from greasy heel which will now be treated for accordingly. Mr O’Brien advised Im Princess Bella would not start until the stable were satisfied the filly would perform in a competitive manner.

Tim Butt, trainer of Holzarte Vedaquais FRA, advised subsequently from the event blood tests revealed the entire to have a bacterial infection which will be treated for accordingly prior to continuing with the current preparation.
RACE 5 – HYLANDS MY LIGHTNING BLUE FREE FOR ALL (1690 MS)
Matthew Craven, trainer of Shadow Sax advised subsequently from the event connections have now retired the gelding form racing.
RACE 7 – GARRARDS MAORI'S IDOL TROTTERS FREE FOR ALL (GROUP 3) (1690 MS)
Anton Golino, trainer of Always Ready, advised subsequently from the event blood tests & endoscopic examination failed to revel any abnormalities. Mr Golino advised Always Ready will now be given a short let up from racing prior to continuing the current preparation.

Tim Butt, trainer of Only Once Bitten NZ, advised subsequently from the event blood tests revealed the filly to have a high white cell count indicative of a bacterial infection which will be treated for accordingly prior to continuing with the current preparation.
