Ahead of Friday night’s Diamond Classic meeting at Gloucester Park, get the last word from all the key players. Race 5 is the running of the feature event, taken out by Askmeilltellya last year, pictured above.

RACE 1 – BETTER YOUR BET WITH TABTOUCH PACE

1.Ryan Warwick (The Black Cardinal): “Has gate speed. He’s racing well. Glad to get a good barrier.”

2.Mike Reed (Tiffany Rose): “She’s got gate speed. Her work has been good. She’s had a good freshen-up. Worked well on Saturday and she’s feeling good in herself.”

3.Chris Voak (Bolta): “Could land 1-1 here. Good place chance.”

5.Nathan Turvey (Miracle Moose): “Probably the other favoured one is drawn inside. They will need to be good to beat Miracle Moose.”

6.Gary Hall Jnr (Babyface Adda): “Looks a test from the draw. Not sure where he will get to. He’s a place chance with luck.”

10.Aiden De Campo (Just Barney): “Was good in defeat last start and has trained on well. Looks to get a good trip in what’s a good field.”

RACE 2 – BETTER YOUR CLUB WITH TABTOUCH PACE

2.Mike Reed (Countess Grace): “Hopefully she may run a place. Each-way.”

3.David Young (Baylan Jett): “Up in grade. With an ounce of luck he can be a place chance. Just needs things to go his way.”

4.Chris Voak (Ultimate Offer): “Can win.”

7.Gary Hall Snr (Extreme Prince): “Unlucky last week. Hard for him to win from out there.”

10.Mike Reed (Valbonne): “On the pegs, he will be sweating for a run. Each-way chance.”

11.Nathan Turvey (Rakasinc): “Not much luck on Monday. Lowest ranked and in the harder of the two divisions. He’s probably better up there and rolling.”

12.Gary Hall Snr (Our Rhythm N Blues): “Went well last week. Always a place chance.”

RACE 3 – BETTER YOUR INDUSTRY WITH TABTOUCH PACE

1.Garry Butler (Aussie Delight): “Happy with the draw. He will need the run. Hopefully he will be able to hold a forward position.”

4.Gary Hall Snr (Mr Kiwi): “The Bird Dance was too good for him last week. Difficult draw. If he goes forward he will probably have to do some work. He might have to slide forward though.”

5.Nathan Turvey (Carter Micheal): “Working well. First-up over 2500 isn’t ideal but he’s in for a good prep.”

6.Chris Voak (Im Beta Than Gouda): “Bad draw. Wait for a barrier.”

7.Greg Bond (The Bird Dance): “He was great last week. I wasn’t sure what Ryan was going to do but he put them away with comfort. Expecting him to be competitive again here for sure.”

9.Colin Brown (Hy Leexciting): “He’s had a different workload. It will be interesting to see how he goes. If he had have drawn a bit closer we would have had a look. From nine, we will have to see where he’s at.”

11.Garry Butler (Sightseeing Anvil): “He will be driven for shortcuts.”

RACE 4 – LYLE LINDAU 90TH BIRTHDAY PACE

1.Greg Bond (Ocean Ridge): “We will look to take advantage of the gate. Ryan often finds out what games he wants to play after the start. The barrier gives him options though.”

3.Mike Reed (Golden State): “Happy with him last start. He can run a place.”

7.Chris Voak (Vultan Tin): “Not far away from being back to his best. At his best he probably would have won last week.”

8.Gary Hall Snr (Chicago Bull): “He’s still on the improve. He will probably have two weeks off after this. He can win this week.”

RACE 5 – DIAMOND CLASSIC

1.Chris Voak (Just For Love): “Hasn’t drawn to lead her whole career. She’s improving each start. It’s her third go at 2130 and she’s getting better every start at that trip too. The big problem could be if she charges the gate, but she has got speed to lead.”

6.Greg Bond (Unconditional): “She’s done a tremendous job. Trained on good. We go into the race with a degree of confidence. She’s got the draw advantage on her main rivals and we will look to use that.”

8.David Young (Minor Catastrophe): “The barrier is just a starting position not a finishing position. The whole idea was to peak for this race. I couldn’t be happier with her. She will need luck from the draw.”

9.Colin Brown (Foxy Rose): “The heat time worries me. I don’t mind the horse and she’s got some ability. The draw is hard too.”

10.Terry Ferguson (Bettor Beach Belle): “We’ve had a rushed trip with this filly getting her there. We’re very excited to have one in the final. Normally I have the two-year-olds we breed here up and running a little bit earlier than I’ve had this year. We’ve had a big team in. She pulled up very well and she’s tracked nicely since. We’re lucky to get a nice draw behind the one horse. I think we will end up three back on the fence.”

11.Aiden De Campo (Secret Reaction): “Was a bit unlucky in the heats not to finish closer. Gets a good trailing draw. Has a lot of high speed if the race is run upside down.”

12.Gary Hall Jnr (Always An Angel): “Going into the heat I thought she was head and shoulders above the rest. My thought hasn’t changed. I did want to make a bit of a statement but she pulled in the breeze. She went huge to win the race. The draw hurts but I think she’s the best filly in the race. She’s got good toughness.”

RACE 6 – DOWNLOAD THE TABTOUCH APP TODAY PACE

1.Mike Reed (Gran Chico): “His work has been okay. He’s never been a very good track worker. He should improve out of sight from the track. We think he’s a Pacing Cup horse.”

2.Chris Voak (Anime): “Wait for a draw.”

5.Gary Hall Snr (Robbie Easton): “He will go close. The one horse is the worry. On recent form though I don’t think the one horse could beat my bloke. He’s going well.”

9.Gary Hall Snr (Mister Bushido): “Good horse. He seems to be finding the line at the moment.”

RACE 7 – TABTOUCH GIDDY UP PREMIUM FORM PACE

1.Gary Hall Jnr (Always An Honour): “Should lead and win.”

2.Greg Bond (Taroona Bromac): “Would’ve loved to reverse the draws. Will let Ryan play it by ear. I think the one would hold up. Looks on paper a two horse race. We will look to come off the arm.”

6.Aiden De Campo (Bettor Be Oscar): “Continues to race well. Needs to be on pace. Place chance.”

7.Chris Voak (Bettor Party): “Wait for a draw.”

9.Gary Hall Snr (Just Rockon Bye): “If she’d have drawn a barrier she could win. She will still be competitive.”

RACE 8 – STREAM LIVE RACING ON TABTOUCH PACE

2.Aiden De Campo (Keptain Courageous): “Will improve a lot on last run if he can hold a forward position. Should figure in the top five.

4.Gary Hall Snr (Master Publisher): “He’s my best chance for the night. He can breeze as he’s quite strong. If he leads he will bolt in.”

6.Gary Hall Snr (Advance Your Dream): “She will go to the rail and play for luck.”

7.Gary Hall Snr (Copy N Pace): “Can work in the run. If there’s a bit of speed on early he can come around and get into it.”

8.Mike Reed (Valentines Brook): “He will go back and hope the speed is on. He was great last start.”

10.Greg Bond (Manifestly Excesiv): “Going great. Not out of his depth here. Not the ideal draw behind the one though.”

11.Mike Reed (Power And Grace): “Getting better and better. Good draw for him and looks like he’ll be able to get a good run through. They’ll know he’s there in the finish.”

RACE 9 – TABTOUCH RACE REPLAYS PACE

2.Colin Brown (Typhoon Tiff): “Wrapped with the draw. I’m extremely happy with her. I haven’t had her better. She’s got the hood on for the first time this prep. I’m hoping to lead or breeze. She runs her best races from there.”

7.Chris Voak (Queen Shenandoah): “Can win. Ross said she’s working the place down. Just a tricky draw.”

9.Gary Hall Snr (Balcatherine): “I think she’s the best horse in the race. The draw is against her, but don’t write her off. She’s going really well.”

RACE 10 TABTOUCH.COM.AU PACE

1.Gary Hall Jnr (Gangbuster): “He’s better on the rail. If Giles is happy to we might lead. He will be in it for a long way.”

2.Chris Voak (Regal Ambition): “Can be about the place from that draw.”

3.Greg Bond (Courage Tells): “He might need a smidgeon of luck.”

6.Ryan Warwick (Lightning Jolt): “Racing better than numerical form suggests and drops in grade but so do a few others.”

9.Garry Butler (Rocknroll Whitby): “Drawn wide so he will go back and be driven for luck.”

11.Gary Hall Snr (Tuas Delight): “Each-way chance. Going well, just no luck with the draws.”
