Alta Cinderella has made a stunning debut in today’s Happy Mother’s Day Cheryl Hallows 3YO Pace (2185m) at Pinjarra, belting her rivals by 24.7m.

The Alta Christiano filly settled in the breeze outside of Captain Dandi before she careered away from her rivals when called upon by reinsman Gary Hall Jnr to score the effortless win.

The Gary Hall Snr-trained youngster rated 1.57.1 for the mile and ran home in a slick 55.5.

Hall Jnr said there was plenty of upside for the filly.

“She has come a long way in a short period of time,” he said.

“She has all the makings of a pretty smart horse.”

It was the first leg of a double for Hall Snr, who had Copy N Pace take out the Happy First Mother’s Day Jamie Phillips Pace (2185m).

It was a bittersweet moment for the stable, who lost promising pacer Raksjameson in that race with a tendon injury.

It was a significant day for sisters Jocelyn and Madeleine Young who teamed up for a running double in the middle of the card.

Jocelyn trained both Pamy June and trotter The Debater to victory, while Madeleine drove the pair.

The Debater justified the short quote leading all the way from barrier one to score by 14.6m.

Leading reinsman Ryan Warwick continued his stunning run of form teaming up for another three winners with the Greg and Skye Bond-trained Unconditional, Parmesan and Kilowatt Kid all scoring victories.

It comes just a day after Warwick teamed up with the Bond stable for three winners from as many drives at Gloucester Park.
