SATURDAY night’s Ballarat meeting is already going to be an interesting affair.

With a string of high class performers set to compete throughout the card there is plenty for all enthusiasts to enjoy.

For those looking to make a purchase at next month’s Australian Pacing Gold Sale, however, there are 25 reasons to take note of the program.

That’s how many APG graduates will contest races such as the Victoria Derby and Oaks heats along with the Group One Ballarat Cup.

Seven of those pacers have siblings in the APG Melbourne Sale on February 2.

A $1.35 favourite with TAB Fixed Odds in her Oaks heat, Maajida has a half-sister in the Sale.

From Arterial Way, the filly by Betting Line and will enter the ring as Lot 65.

Midfield in betting from her outside of the second row draw, Starsbythebeach has a half-brother waiting for a new home.

By Rock N Roll Heaven from Maid For You Lombo, the colt is Lot 163.

Engaged in the first Derby qualifier, Pacifico Dream also has a half-brother poised to enter the ring.

From Mint Julep, the colt, known as Lot 167, is by Art Major.

The second Derby heat will see a trio of promising three-year-old’s with relatives in the sale.

Shady Azz, from Nats Survival, has a half-brother by Four Starzzz Shark which is Lot 187.

One of the leading prospects for the Blue Riband, Mirragon is another with a half-brother ready to be sold.

From The Waratah, the colt is by Always Be Miki and will go ‘under the hammer’ as Lot 243.

Hesty rounds out the Derby contenders with half-brothers in the Sale….a colt from Four Zoe by Pet Rock, which is Lot 115.

Winner of the 2016 APG Final, The Storm Inside is regarded as the leading local in the Cup from barrier two.

The Storm Inside is from Spirited Storm which has a filly by Betting Line - Lot 221 – in the Sale.
