Patrick Ryan, trainer of Hesty advised that subsequent to this event his disappointment in the colt’s performance and has now sent Hesty for a spell.

RACE 6 –AVOCA- MARYBOROUGH COMMUNITY BANK BRANCHES PACE (2190 MS)
Kath Gath stable representative for Andy Gath, trainer of Bao Nien, advised that subsequent to this event the gelding failed to recover as expected and blood tests failed to reveal any abnormalities. Bao Nien will be given a short let up from racing.
RACE 8 –CARISBROOK MOTORS PACE (2190 MS)
Brent Lilley, trainer of The Sparrow Hawk NZ, advised that subsequent to this event the gelding had nasal discharge evident of a viral infection. Mr Lilley advised the gelding was treated accordingly and that he will continue with the current preparation of the gelding.
