Should thank the wonderful consignors

Should thank the wonderful consignors

Well it’s here!  The day so many people in the industry have been waiting for. It’s so encouraging for the sport when we have had close to 200 registered bidders from people and organisations from all over Australia, New Zealand and North America.

The industry as a whole should thank the wonderful consignors that came forward from day one with the attitude that they would offer up strong lots at very achievable reserves to make this event a success.

The team at APG that’s headed up by David Boydell would also like to take this opportunity to go on the record and thank the astonishing consignors for putting faith in APG and this format.  To celebrate the success so far and to reward those registered bidders that have also made an effort to follow and participate in this event, APG would like to announce we have a total of 15 magnificent gift packs full of horse gear and apparel valued at more than $200 to reward buyers of lots listed below.  Whilst these haven’t yet reached or passed their reserves as yet, they still offer great value to some.

Consignors like Darcel Lindau-Johnson who has been so loyal and more than fair with her 5 lots eg Lots 89, 92 and 96 have minimal reserves and are all in foal to Hurrikane Kingcole.  When we spoke to Peter Bell today from Egmont Park he went on to say:  “ Darcels mares look fantastic and it’s a credit to those involved.  She has also set reserves that are great value considering 3 of the mares are due to foal to Hurrikane Kingcole. He just happens to be the leading first-crop sire for an unimaginable 14 individual winners from just 35 foals.

The list below is a random selection of lots later in the sale. Many of which already offer great upside to the buyers looking for opportunities.  These will now have the added bonus of this sensational gift pack, valued at more $200 and provided should the horses below be sold today under the auction conditions.

No matter what happens from this point on today, a lot of buyers are going to be the big winners.  The facts are that Harness Racing has a brilliant record of rewarding those breeders that take a risk, have faith in themselves and are brave to move forward. It’s a given that TRADING UP opportunities will be presented in APG NATIONAL MIXED SALE - so good luck to those that BACK THEMSELVES.

Please join in the fun at the link below, late bidding registrations are not guaranteed however we will do what we can.
