About Us

Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) is a statutory body whose role is to oversee all harness racing activity in Victoria.  We are committed to developing a vibrant and sustainable harness racing industry which promotes participation, integrity and racing excellence and grow returns to all our stakeholders.  We run around 450 race meetings per year at 26 tracks throughout Victoria. 

The Opportunity

An exciting part time opportunity (3 days per week) exists for you to join HRV as a Track Curator at Tabcorp Park in Melton. You will be responsible for the day to day track preparation and grounds maintenance operations.   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and maintenance of the track for racing, trials and training
  • General repairs and maintenance duties;
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in work processes and procedures and adapt to change in workplace practices

About You

To be considered for this role, you will ideally be passionate about racing and/or have a desire to work in a sporting environment and possess:

  • Ability to work within the team to ensure that all tasks are completed
  • Good communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Basic mechanical and handyman skills
  • Valid Victorian Driver’s license
  • Willingness to obtain a medium rigid heavy vehicle license
