Australia's most exciting pacer Lombo La Fe Fe will make a surprise appearance this Saturday night at Moonee Valley.

?

Buoyed by a stellar trackwork session this morning trainer Jayne Davies has delivered HRV officials a coup on the eve of the first Premier Meeting for 2003.

?

The reigning Victorian Horse of the Year will tackle the "boys" for the first time this campaign when she steps out in the $15,000 VHRC 3YO Cup.

?

After demoralising the Kiwis on their home soil in the Great Northern Oaks, Davies had originally planned to freshen harness racing's pin-up girl for an assault on Friday week's Princess Mile at Harold Park.

?

Those plans were shelved however when regular pilot Chris Alford took Lombo La Fe Fe through some of her most impressive trackwork yet at her Clyde base earlier today.

?

A winner of 21 of her 24 starts for stakes of $540,469, Lombo La Fe Fe will be chasing her 18th consecutive victory in the Cup as she continues her march to the ultimate showdown with the "boys" in next month's Victoria Derby at Moonee Valley.
