Champion reinswoman Kerryn Gath is poised to drive her 300th winner for the season tonight at Moonee Valley.
The 29-year-old, who will revert to her maiden name of Manning on September 1, is just one winner shy with six days remaining in the season.
She heads to the Valley tonight with a book of five drives including pre-post favourites Jilliby Rebel ($2.60, 7.47pm), OK Windermere ($3.70, 8.47pm) and Jilliby Spice ($1.80, 10.17pm).
The only driver in Australasia to amass 300 winners in a season, Gath will do so for the third consecutive year should she reach the milestone as expected.
In a stellar 12 months, the record breaking reinswoman this season became the youngest harness racing driver in Australasia, male or female, to drive 2000 winners.
At 28 years and 10 months of age, she shaved three years off the previous mark held by Chris Alford when she saluted on Village Thriller at Kilmore on May 17.
Set to claim her fifth consecutive Australian Drivers Premiership next week, the popular reinswoman has closed to within 50 wins of German veteran Rita Drees as the most successful female driver of all time.
