AUSTRALIAN Pacing Gold purchases are poised to dominate tomorrow night’s Caduceus Club Cup.

Not only are APG stock well represented in numbers, they also dominate betting markets thanks to some stellar form.

Six of the nine runners in the $30,000 are APG graduates.

Winner of his three starts, Demon Delight will be looking to maintain his perfect record for owners Russell and Pam Hockham.

Although drawn the outside of the front row, the Emma Stewart-trained colt is a $1.45 favourite with TAB Fixed Odds.

“I’ve got a very big opinion of him,” Stewart said. “He’s only had three starts and is still on the way up, but he’s as good as any of the three-year-olds in the stable!”

Demon Delight is followed closely in the market by Soho Thunderstruck, with the son of Art Major fresh from a first-up win at Maryborough last week.

Prepared by Michael Stanley, Soho Thunderstruck is expected to be pushed forward in search of the lead from barrier two – the same draw as his Maryborough success.

A stablemate of Soho Thunderstruck, Watch List – also a recent first-up winner – will follow his training partner through from the second row.

Despite boasting an impressive record of four wins and two placings from six starts, Hudsen is at the juicy odds of $26 from barrier five.

Arggghhh from the pole and Zoliver from gate three round out the APG ‘crew’.
