Race 9

1. Dreammoko: Fast horse and his father Timoko won with Björn Goop last year for the second time. May reach the final thanks to his great driver but probably not much more.

2. Rajesh Face: Talented horse with lots of personality. A bit green but could make it to the final if he stays calm in front of the huge crowd.

3. Lionel: Very strong horse that has become faster as he has matured. Norway's big hope in the Elitloppet but is still only an outsider over the short distance.

4. Volstead: Won the Sweden Cup last year and loves two heats. Doesn't mind tough trips and hates losing but not as classy as the big favorites.

5. Bold Eagle: Amazingly impressive in last year's elimination but disappointed as the huge favorite in the final. Is back for revenge but will he handle two heats better this year? One of two huge favorites to win the whole thing.

6. Maori Time: Most exotic visitor in many years and showed great gate speed when setting record in February. Has already gained lots of new fans in Sweden and reaching the final is the big goal for this lovely mare.

7. Takethem: Best horse in Denmark for a couple of years but failed to qualify for the final in last year's Elitloppet. Will need a lot of luck to reach the final.

8. Up And Quick: Prix d'Amerique-winner who prefers short-distance races as an aged horse. Has looked better in his last couple of races and getting through to the final is not impossible despite the draw.

SELECTIONS

5 Bold Eagle

4 Volstead

3 Lionel

Outsider 6 Maori Time

Race 10

1. Ringostarr Treb: Extremely fast behind the gate and was very impressive going wire-to-wire in Olympic Trot final last time. Is a contender to win the final if everything works out perfectly for him.

2. Cokstile: Very fast horse but a bit inexperienced against this kind of competition. Could be in the final from a perfect post position but not much more.

3. Orlando Jet: Highly talented horse who is making his first apperance in the Elitloppet rather early in his career. Might need more races under the belt before being a factor in this kind of company.

4. Propulsion: One of the best sprinters in the world and finished second in the last Elitloppet even though he wasn't at the top of his game. The preparation has gone perfectly this year and has one of the best drivers in the world, Örjan Kihlström. This is my winner of Elitloppet!

5. Nadal Broline: Always gives his best and can take outside trips without problem. Might be lacking a litte bit of speed in order to compete with the very best.

6. Pastore Bob: Has gone from an average horse to a participant in Elitloppet in just a matter of months. May get to the final with maximum luck.

7. Uza Josselyn: Very fast mare who showed top form last time after some racing trouble. Adielsson is a top driver and cannot be ruled out completely from winning the Elitloppet if everything works out perfectly.

8. Amiral Sacha: Has competed against and beaten most of the top horses in France during his long career. Is better than most people think and would benefit a lot if the race would be overpaced.

SELECTIONS

1 Ringostarr Treb

7 Uza Josselyn

Outsider 8 Amiral Sacha

Race 11

4 Extra Fudge

15 Robin Roof
