With the overwhelming interest and excitement flowing in from breeders in Western AustraliaNew South WalesVictoria and in our home state of South Australia, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the remarkable breeders who have stepped forward to join us in building the Allwood Stud $100,000  2YO Group One into Australia’s Greatest Value 2YO Race.

We now have entries from more than twenty leading sires. Whilst entries for the sale are open until the 24th of July, the earlier you get your entries in the better. It is highly likely that we will be over- subscribed, but a maximum of 33 yearlings will be eligible to enter the ring and be sold in February next year at levels not seen in South Australia before. Given the high number of entries already received, it is timely to remind everyone that we encourage all vendors to complete the entry forms as a matter of urgency.

The team at Allwood Stud who are just great supporters of Harness Racing in this country have come forward to do their part in keeping this amazing momentum going. All confirmed non-sale entries paid in full $1,650 (GST inc) by the due datewill go into a draw to win a free service to Fly Like An Eagle, for this breeding season.

The four time Group One winning Stallion is from the hottest sire line on the planet right now. We contacted a representative from the stud, who said “We really liked the concept the team from SA presented to us and it’s going to give the industry a real boost. This event looks very exciting, much like the prospects at stud of Fly Like An Eagle. It’s a great partnership we are developing in SA and we encourage harness racing fans to get on board and enjoy what promises to be a breathtaking ride”.
