A COUPLE of semi-finals of the Australian Pacing Gold highlight the card at Tabcorp Park Menangle this Saturday night.

The Purdon brothers Mark and Barry will go head-to-head in the second semi-final with Sicario and Be Major Threat respectively.

TAB Fixed Odds are also open for the qualifier with Sicario dominating the market at $1.55 with Be Major Threat at $10 while in the first semi, Victorian visitor Lumineer is the $1.40 favourite.

Menangle tipster Amanda Rando has marked Sicario as one of her best bets of the night, however likes the value of Be Major Threat as a possible quinella option.

Sicario was the equal fastest APG heat winner for the boys at Menangle last Tuesday week rating the mile in 1:53.8 and Be Major Threat was all class winning his heat after forced to do it tough outside the leader.

Rando’s value bet is the Ashlee Grives-trained My Lucky Belle in race five.

Meanwhile, My Lucky Belle looks well graded and was just nabbed on the line last start when they clocked 1:54.5 in a 2300m event.
