The Albion Park Harness Racing Club will play host to a strong ten race program this Saturday night.

And the opening race has attracted an even field of 12 pacers with several in-form runners set to contest the UBET Pace over the 1660m.

The sprint scamper features several speedy beginners and pressure will be at an extreme level while luck in running will be crucial to the outcome.

Speedy beginner Monarkmac has landed the coveted inside gate and will take plenty of catching following his eye-catching effort last week when second behind Our Millwood Maizie.

Prepared by Grant Dixon, Monarkmac will be handled by concession driver Isobel Ross and aims for his 17th victory at the track.

Others to consider include Royal Jacquard, Days End, Supaliner, Illawong Dreamtime, Tightrope, Major Lexus, Major Score and Withalotofluck.

The $15,540 Kevin & Kay Seymour Rising Stars Championship also looks an extremely open affair following the barrier draw.

Heat winners on Tuesday were Im Norma Jean and Get In The Groove but both have landed difficult draws off the second-line.

The Rising Stars Finals is listed as race 2 on the card.

Another highlight is the Egmont Park Stud Open Pace over 1660m which features the likes of Teo Enteo, Shannonsablast, Glenferrie Hood, Alleluia and Mach Alert.

Last week, Teo Enteo scored a decisive victory and runs from the inside gate this weekend.

Gambling giant UBET are offering several jackpots throughout the program including a guaranteed $50,000 First 4 pool on the opening race plus a $10,000 jackpot.

A guaranteed Quadrella of $20,000 is also slated; the quaddie will be staged on races 2, 3, 4 & 5.

UBET have also slated $2000 jackpot trifecta pools on races 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7.

The first of 10 races is scheduled to start at 5.32pm.
