The Albion Park Harness Racing Club will play host to a strong ten race program this Saturday night.
And what better way to celebrate the Easter long weekend with a night out under the stars and taking in some fine harness racing action.
The Easter Bunny is scheduled to arrive just after race three for the kids!
The opening race has attracted an even field of 12 pacers with several in-form runners set to contest the UBET Pace over the distance of 2138m.
In what shapes as an extremely open affair, punters will find value but the inside draw will be a major advantage to Abitgoingonhere who starts from the coveted inside draw with Trent Moffat listed to drive the Grinfromeartoear gelding.
The talented type has won 3 of his last 5 starts, all victories here at Albion Park, and looks likely to be in the firing line from his ideal draw.
Others to be considered include Likeallofus, Overlap, Applause, Remember Them, Montana Falcon and Ohoka Colorado among others.
The $15,540 Kevin & Kay Seymour Rising Stars Championship also looks an extremely open affair following the barrier draw.
Heat winners on Tuesday were Aldo Rossi and Frankie Rocks but both have drawn awkwardly which paves the way for the likes of Bring On Lefty, Make A Statement and Gasmonkey to cause an upset result.
The Rising Stars Finals is listed as race 4 on the card.
Another highlight is the Easter Bunny Open Pace over 2138m which features the likes of Glenferrie Hood, Teo Enteo, Joys A Babe and Shannonsablast.
Last week, Shannonsablast recorded back to back victories but must overcome gate seven this week.
Gambling giant UBET are offering several jackpots throughout the program including a guaranteed $50,000 trifecta pool on the opening race plus a $10,000 jackpot.
A guaranteed Quadrella of $20,000 is also slated; the quaddie will be staged on races 2, 3, 4 & 5.
UBET have also slated $2000 jackpot trifecta pools on races 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7.
