The Albion Park Harness Racing Club will play host to a strong ten race program this Saturday night.

And the opening race has attracted an even field of 12 pacers with several in-form runners set to contest the UBET Pace over the 1660m.

In what shapes as an extremely open affair, punters will find value but classy performer Shannonsablast will command plenty of attention despite being landed with gate twelve, the outside of the second-line.

Following his maiden Albion Park victory last weekend, the Four Starzzz Shark gelding faces a class drop with the benefit of concession reinsperson Madi Dux.

Shannonsablast defeated open class rivals Glenferrie Hood and Majestic Major with his victory in a time of 1:53.4.

Since then, he has been transferred to the stables of leading local horseman Mark Dux.

The main focus for Shannonsablast is the upcoming Brisbane winter carnival on July 1, 8 and 15.

The Gr.1 $200,000 UBET Blacks A Fake which now carries Grand Circuit status is scheduled for July 15.

His main dangers this weekend include Strawbs Ideal Act, Montana Falcon, Clarkey, Applause, Remember Them, Purple Royale, The Space Invader, Lamorak and Corporal Luna.

The $15,540 Kevin & Kay Seymour Rising Stars Championship also looks an extremely open affair following the barrier draw.

Heat winners on Tuesday were Firebby and The Charging Moa but classy filly Im Norma Jean could prove hard to catch after landing the coveted inside gate.

The Rising Stars Finals is listed as race 6 on the card.

Gambling giant UBET are offering several jackpots throughout the program including a guaranteed $50,000 First 4 pool on the opening race plus a $10,000 jackpot.

A guaranteed Quadrella of $20,000 is also slated; the quaddie will be staged on races 2, 3, 4 & 5.

UBET have also slated $2000 jackpot trifecta pools on races 3, 4, 5 & 6.
