Brilliant filly Petacular.

The best three-year-old filly in Australia will start a commanding favourite at Tabcorp Park Melton tomorrow night.

Petacular, the popular pacer from Michael Stanley’s Burrumbeet stables, is long odds-on to win her Nevele R Stud Victoria Oaks heat and progress to the $150,000 Group 1 Final on April 7.

The 11-time winner from 16 races will carry the rising-in-fame PETstock colours as she is raced by the PETstock Racing Syndicate.

As a two-year-old Petacular won the prestigious Empire Stallions Vicbred Super Series Grand Final and finished runner-up from an extreme barrier draw to unbeaten New Zealand star filly Partyon in the Breeders Crown Final.

Petacular will step out in Race 4 at Melton (at 8.10pm) on a race card packed with quality.

The race night features two Victoria Oaks heats, the Group 3 Allied Express Transport Jodie’s Babe – a quality line-up of mares has been put together – and the Group 3 Sundons Gift Trotters Free-for-All.

Entry to Tabcorp Park Melton is free and dining packages are available by visiting the Tabcorp Park website.
