IDEAL FOR REAL

FOR those looking to grab a mid season bargain – or early Easter present – Sunday’s Ladbrokes Australian Pacing Gold Autumn Sale is the place to be.

By a host of leading stallions and hailing from strong maternal families, 67 youngsters will go under the hammer at the Inglis Sales Complex in Oaklands Junction.

The numbers break down to 41 colts and 26 fillies by the likes of Art Major, Four Starzzz Shark, Mach Three, Pet Rock, Rock N Roll Heaven, Roll With Joe and Shadyshark Hanover to name a few.

Adding strength to the offerings is the fact eight of the yearlings have siblings which have graced the winners’ circle this season.

For example Lot 634 – a colt by Modern Art from Village Glow – is a half-brother to three winners this term, all by different stallions.

Past Autumn Sale graduates include Ideal For Real, Ricimer, Christmas Jolt, Exterminate, Phantom Rockstar, Virgil Hilts, The Big Show and Hoo Nien.

Each has returned up to 10 times its purchase price, highlighting the value of Autumn Sale stock.
