Gun driver Zac Phillips told Trots Talk this week that Four Ex Dan was one of his favourites and the five-year-old entire would be hard to beat in Saturday night’s Moama Bowling Club Echuca Pacing Cup.

“The improvement he’s shown and how hard he tries, you can’t help but love him,” Phillips said.

“He’s going well enough to be a top chance (on Saturday night).”

Four Ex Dan goes into Saturday night’s leg of the Trots Country Cups Championship on a two-race winning streak following victories in the Wangaratta Cup and last time out at metropolitan level at Melton.

A 10-race program awaits fans at Echuca for cup night, the first getting under way at 6.28pm and the last at 11.02pm.

The whole community is encouraged to attend and enjoy a great night out, with club president Rob Height promising “something for everyone” including children’s activities such as a sports clinic, face painting, Tex the miniature pig making an appearance, the popular pony trots and the Trots Virtual Reality experience.

Live music will be performed by Echuca local Drew Walker and there will be a stack of giveaways.
