AS the Team Teal campaign for 2017 is winding down the Newcastle/Maitland Mini Trots are ending the promotion with a bang at Newcastle Paceway this Saturday night.

With the goal of raising funds for the Women’s Cancer Foundation, the Mini Trots are hosting a celebrity race for senior female drivers plus an all girls event to also help build the awareness of the Team Teal campaign and ovarian cancer.

The line up of lady drives for the celebrity race include recent Group winner Martelle Maguire, Laura Spencer, Kylie Barnes, Katie McGill, Maddie Bond, Rebecca Brown, Sarah Towers, Jess Dart and Kim Mordue.

Alongside this, the Mini Trots has also organised a fundraiser to donate money towards the Women’s Cancer Foundation.

This includes a raffle with prizes such as a dinner for two at Club Menangle, as well as at Newcastle Harness Racing Club to name a few.

And to top it all off you may even see some mini trotters in fancy dress on the night with teal the theme of course.

There will be mini trot races for boys on the night as well.

Mini trot events are on following races one, two, four, five and six.
