ALMOST two-thirds of the dams represented in the Bathurst Gold Crown Yearling Sale catalogue are race winners, while 60 percent of the dams have produced winners in 2:00 or better.

The list of successful racemares with progeny in the sale includes the Edgar Tatlow winner Lady Titian Lombo, Miss Nobilo (NSW Pink Bonnet), the WA 3YO Sires Stakes champion Edna Anne, the Queensland Triad winners Tallaringa Drive and Aldebaran and the SA Southern Cross winner Same Action.

Other smart racemares include the multiple Group 1 placegetter Protikori, the NSW Sires Stakes semi winner Rangiann, Cherry’s Angel (Breeders Crown ht), the APG heat winners Macrandra, Rosalind and The Magic Of Life, Hidden Gem (Qld Racing Minister’s Cup), the Vicbred heat winner Eternal Love, Set To Shine, Room With A View (1:56) and the Canadian-bred mare Camrose.

The lineup of winners out of the dams represented reads like a classics datebook. They include the Bathurst Gold Tiara victor Distant Memory, the APG Final winners Rosa Mach and Mister Sloy, open class star Lombo Kotakinabalu, the NZ 2YO Filly of the year Susie Maguire, Four Trumps (NSW Simpson Sprint), Karloo Ten Seventy (NSW Breeders Challenge 2YO Regional Final), Paddy OSullivan (MIA Breeders Plate), Almost El Eagle (Vic. Lombo), Megs Ferrari (NSW Inter City Pace) and the NSW Breeders Challenge Blue winner Lettuceriprita.

Siblings to the dams of catalogued entries are the Victoria Cup winner Caribbean Blaster, Village Hero (1:50.6), NZ 2YO Filly of the Year Classy Filly, Dream About Me (NSW Breeders Plate), national two-year-old mile record holder Lettucerockthem, the Vicbred champions Villagem, Full Pleasure and Devilish Smile, Dance Of Life (Vic. and Qld Oaks), supersire Fake Left, million dollar earner Slipnslide, 3YO of the year Sir Galvinator, Saab, All Eyes On Me, My Willow, Lombo Mandingo and many others.

The sale will be held on Sunday, March 19 starting at 11am at the Bathurst Showground and will be conducted by Graeme Board & Company.
