The 2017 Pinjarra Pacing Cup Sponsorship Raffle was drawn at the Pinjarra Paceway on Sunday evening; Glamping Co are the proud winners of naming rights to the $50,000 Glamping Co Pinjarra Pacing Cup, to be run on Monday 6th March.
Glamping Co are creators of luxury bohemian style accommodation for weddings, festivals, parties, corporate events and romantic weekends away. Owner of Glamping Co, Nic Hopson, and his team set up and style glamorous camping – Glamping – experiences at any location, complete with luxurious 5 star hotel mattresses and super soft linen. Glamping Co can even organise a private chef to cook for guests, or an entire Glamping Village catering for large group celebrations.
In addition to naming rights to the premier country Pacing Cup in WA, Glamping Co’s prize includes hospitality for twenty guests on Cup Day, race book advertising and on-course promotional opportunities.
This is the sixth consecutive year that the Pinjarra Harness Racing Club has conducted the Naming Rights Sponsorship Raffle and with all 50 tickets sold this year, there is great community support for this unique promotion. Second to eighth placegetters in the Raffle each receive naming rights to a supporting race on Cup Day, race book advertising and hospitality for four guests, including a delicious seafood lunch, dessert and beverage package.

All ticketholders who didn’t win a major prize will each receive hospitality for two guests on Cup Day.

With stake money of $50,000 not only will the Cup attract some of the best pacers WA has to offer, it’s a day filled with fun and entertainment for the entire family. There will be live music between races, a Punters Club and Lucky Losing Ticket draws, Tentland, plus a bouncy castle and go kart racing for the kids. Three bars, a canteen and the Paceway Pavilion restaurant will be open with delicious and affordable lunch options.
Gates open on Cup Day (public holiday Monday 6th March) from 10.30am, the first race is scheduled for 12.13pm.
Admission is a gold coin donation, which is donated to the Lifeline; funds raised on Cup day will be matched dollar for dollar by RWWA’s Community TAB.
