At 12.15 pm today the Gloucester Park track was inspected by RWWA Acting Chairman of Stewards Rhys Chappell and was passed fit to race this evening.
Gloucester Park has received over 100mls of rain in the last twenty-four hours, however the track has held up remarkably well and it is safe to hold tonight’s meeting.
Gloucester Park’s Track Curator Brett Regan was very happy with the condition of the track
“Even though we have had a great deal of rain the track is very firm under foot, and I have been able to work on it this morning and its ready to race immediately”.
The highlight of tonight’s card is the $50,000 Westral Daintys Daughter Classic (Race 7, 9pm WST), with the first race scheduled for 5.52 pm WST.
